A year of
patient capital
When markets move quickly, the most valuable thing a private bank can offer is a steady hand. Our clients asked us for clarity, discretion and judgement, and in a year of sharp rotations across asset classes we tried to provide all three.
Client assets reached a new high, driven more by the trust of existing families than by acquisition. We added advisers slowly, and only where we could keep the standard of advice we are known for.
We continued to invest in the platform behind the relationship: reporting that clients can read in minutes, and a risk framework that tells us early when something has changed.
